Here's what the backyard looks like when it is getting flooded

They thought it was fun to ride their bikes in it too. Carson plowing through the water

Sierra plowing through too she didn't like riding without her shoes but the flip flops kept slipping off so they soon became the water toy and they tried to see who could skip the flip flop across the water the farthest.

Tonight Steve and I were outside when the people we are living with decided to water the lawn. This means for them that they let water out of the canal behind their house and flood the backyard until it gets to the point where they need to turn it off before it gets to the neighbors yards. They had told us they do this in the summer but I wasn't sure how often or if we would really get to participate in the fun but boy did we. I went in the house to tell the kids to go check out the backyard. They ran out and looked and Sierra and Carson came back in a couple of minutes later. Carson got his swimsuit on right away and Sierra just stayed in the house for a while I don't think there was enough water to excite her at first. Briana had just woken up from a nap so she didn't want to get in the water. Carson splashed and played by himself for awhile despite the cold temperature and then Sierra finally came out in her swimsuit and jumped right in too. When Briana saw that the other two were having fun she decided to join them so the three of them probably played in the water for at least an hour. What a fun backyard and swimming pool in about 30 minutes worth of time. The kids sure had fun!!!
