Henifer
Freeway sign with flashing lights

We went to Wyoming for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful we spent less than $100 on gas amazing but awesome!!!! Our trip started on Wednesday morning. We were going to leave around 9 but I had to wait until I could get a prescription from the pharmacy that only opened at nine for the root canal I had on Monday. I hadn't slept much because the pain was awful and nothing I had to take was taking the pain away. So we hit the pharmacy at nine and made it out of town by 9:30. We got about 45 minutes down the road and I was working on my Christmas cards and not paying any attention to the road when I look up and see the sign that says we need to exit. For some reason the sign was a little different than it has been in the past (so Steve says) and we missed the exit and had to go a few more miles down the freeway where we could exit and turn around. We keep going and not another 30 minutes down the road and once again I am paying no attention working on the Christmas cards still I look up and Steve has exited toward Ogden instead of going straight towards Wyoming. Another 5 miles down the road to some very desolate place I think it was called Henifer or something we turned around once again and continued on our way. (I took a picture of the freeway signs with the flashing lights that tell you which way to go, how did we miss this) I have no idea what the problem was we have been traveling those same roads for some eight or nine years now. We had wonderful weather and as always our kids traveled well despite the 8 1/2 hours it takes to get there.
We spent Thursday with lots of my side of the family. There were I think 35 or so people at Thanksgiving dinner. We ate, ate, ate, and played bingo and the kids got to swim in the hot tub. Briana hated the bubbles in the hot tub and screamed like she was dying. The other kids did lots of splashing and playing.

Sounds like you guys had a good Thanksgiving!! Fun to see pics of some of your cousins. I haven't seen some of those people since I was little!! Can't wait to read Part 2!!!! :)
It was fun to put a face to all the people you have been talking about all these years. We got your card - all early and stuff - now I feel like a slacker. Do you want to do ours in between your finals and homework? ;)
