I took the first picture because I wanted to tell how funny it was that Sierra was like Olivia's shadow the whole time we were gone and the whole time Olivia was at our house. I think Olivia was glad to go home for a break, everytime she looked behind her there Sierra was. She loves Olivia and wants to be just like her.
Saturday night we also got to see my cousin Russell and his wife Jan and their little boy Levi. I think it has been a couple of years since I have seen them so it was fun to meet their little boy. I have a bit of a picture of my dad too I don't know how he managed to escape all of the pictures over the weekend. He was smoking a turkey that turned out so yummy so I think maybe he was checking on it when we were taking pictures at Thanksgiving.
Sunday morning we headed home. We had a little bit of wet weather and a little bit of snow before we got to South Pass but the mountain was clear so the trip was nice. The wind did blow like crazy but we were in Wyoming so I guess that is par for the course. We stopped in Farson which is a little poe dunk place that is famous for its ice cream and the kids wanted an ice cream so Sierra had orange sherbert and Carson had Bubble gum. Carson was so blue!!! I think bubble gum ice cream sounds gross now but as kids when we would go to the dentist he would give us a certificate for a free ice cream at the drug store and we would always get bubble gum. Funny Memory!! They both only had the child size scoop but neither of them finished the whole thing.
We let Briana stay for the week with my mom and dad. My mom came on Friday for my niece’s baptism so Briana thought she wanted to stay. About Wednesday night she got a little home sick and by Thursday she was ready to come home but she braved it well and made it safely home on Friday. That pretty much sums up the Thanksgiving trip. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and that you are all well on your way to being ready for Christmas.
