Carving our Masterpieces

Everyone cleaning out the "GUTS" as we call them
Major progress at this point!!!

These kids had enough of the pumpkin fun the swing set looked way more enticing

This little guy was checking out the knives and fun stuff on the table, little did he know we were watching him too.

Sierra and her pumpkins the bottom one she did today and the other one she did at Activity days.
Briana and her pumpkin she picked the design.

Carson and his pumpkin his knife went a little crooked on one eye so I told him it looked like a pirate and then if you look close his mouth says "BOO". This kid loves to pose and be a character

Drew and Clark by their pumpkins

All of the kids posing with the pumpkins

So we had some friends over to carve pumpkins. These guys used to live next door to us and we started carving pumpkins together about six or so years ago. They didn't have any kids back then and now they have two and a third on the way!! Congrats to you guys!! We haven't missed a Halloween since, it is so fun to make the mess with others. The pictures pretty much explain themselves. We had a lot of fun and each of the kids helped with a pumpkin and Steve did one but the pattern wasn't very good and part of it broke off. It was such a beautiful day I think it is the first time we got together a little earlier and it was so nice we did it in the back yard. I was grateful for easier cleanup and the kids loved to play on the swings in between helping with the pumpkins. We had dinner after we carved the pumpkins then had dessert and it was perfect timing because then it was dark outside and we could light up the master pieces. Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!!!
