Briana the performer

The two older kids were going help sing a number with the choir in our sacrament meeting program last Sunday and on Monday before I was trying to help Carson learn the words and Briana wanted to sing to so I told her she could sing too if she learned the words. I think all in all through the week we probably practiced their part at least 100 times if not more, but Briana knew the words and I think they did a great job on Sunday. Briana loved it so much I had her sing it for all of you. Enjoy!!

We opened our presents and then we had a wonderful breakfast of french toast and caramel syrup. Then we just sat around and enjoyed ourselves while the kids played and played and played. then we had a nice dinner of ham and potatos and shrimp and rolls and broccoli. It was really yummy and now we are relaxing some more. We are so thankful for the Savior in our lives and for all he has done for us and we hope that all of you have remembered him and continue to remember him everyday.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow

The pile beind Carson is about as tall as he is

Carson played for a long time even though it was pretty cold
This was the first days of snow

We have had some really snowy days the past couple of weeks. I am posting these pictures so that those of you in Wyoming know you are not alone we have been doing our fair share of scooping too and those of you in Arizona can see what you are missing. I am not a snow lover. I hate being cold and told my kids just a few days ago that I need to live somewhere I can wear flip flops all year long. Anyways here are a few pictures of the snow we have we got 8 inches in one day and I had to scoop it twice that day and was grumbly about it the whole time. I helped one person get their car unstuck and Steve helped two others the day we got dumped on it was a mess.

The kids were in a couple of Christmas concerts at school. Sierra participated in the choir where she had to go to school early twice a week to be in it. They had a concert and then one day last week they had a school concert where all of the classes sang a song or two. The kids did good and had fun participating. They also all three sang with a few primary kids on Sunday for the program at church too I will later post about that.

Christmas Party

Martha and Sarah
Table after we had eaten they gave Candles and holders to the guests

Martha getting her prize

The Band

Steve and I didn't get to go to his work party because it was on a night he had school but I still got one in this year. A couple of weekends ago I went to Martha's work party with her. They had it at a resort and it was really nice with good food. We got to hear the band Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband. It was good entertainment too. Martha won a Apple TV I think it was the first time she won a prize at one of the parties. Thanks Martha for a fun night!!

I'm Fweezing

Briana and her Penguin Socks
Aren't they CUTE???

Briana thinks she is always fweezing and so I directed her to the warmest clean pair of pajamas she had and then she found these socks that Aunt Connie (better known as the one with the grandma) Briana has just informed me that it was Aunt Norma (the one without the grandma) that gave them to her when she stayed in Wyoming. Who knows which one it was but she loves them none the less. She wore them all evening and to bed too. She said "they are so cute, huh". I also thought she was so funny in the bathtub. Aunt Connie had a bunch of gifts for the Bingo playing at Thanksgiving and Carson and Briana both got this roll on soap for the bathtub and when Briana puts it under her arms she says it tickles and starts giggling. I hope Aunt Connie gets a chance to watch this cause Briana is so funny to watch. It was a fun gift.

Christmas Tree

Angel Ornament

Finished product

Carson putting the star on

How many people does it take to turn the tree rotater on?
At Least FOUR!!!
I only have a couple of pictures of the tree getting decorated. I was trying to carefully hand the kids the ornaments. I put the tree together and got all the branches in place then let the kids decorate. We bypassed the tinsel this year we thought we would try it without, I kind of like it. Our tree is special because most of the ornaments on it have been made by someone. The kids have made some and then most of the rest of them have been made by my Aunt Connie. It is fun to see what the new ornament for the year will be. This year it is the angel I thought they were really cute. Thanks Aunt Connie!!!
