So we are still alive and we have moved!!! Yeah we are excited to be in our new place. It has been a crazy couple of weeks though. My mom and dad came to help us move and so they came a week ago last Wed. we picked up our moving truck that night and then my dad and I started packing it early Thursday morning. We knew we had a lot of stuff so we made sure to utilize every inch of space we had loading our storage unit into the truck took us 8 1/2 hours. What a day, my mom and I helped at different times during the day but my dad kept going the whole time. Steve flew in that night so we wouldn't have another car to drive and then first thing Friday morning we started loading the stuff we had at the house. We loaded once again from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. We ended up needing to rent another trailer to hold the rest of our stuff we wonder where we had it all in that little house of ours. We arrived at our new home about 5 p.m. and the unloading began. I was tired and so were my mom and dad but we kept going. Thankfully Steve called our new ward to see if we could get some help and we had nine people from the ward that came and helped us unload which still took 3 hours. Saturday we unloaded as many boxes as we could we got a lot of kitchen stuff put away and beds put together and my mom and dad put up the shelves for my food storage and organized the food on them, my dad organized the garage. If it weren't for my dad I am sure we wouldn't have as much done as we do he kept us all working.
Minus the few setbacks we have had (sewer in the basement from running the washing machine, no hookup for my electric dryer so clothes hung all over the place, a broken spring on the garage door, two burners on my stove not working) ya I think that is it so far!!! We love our new place and have been very welcomed by the neighborhood. Carson was playing at a neighbors house with two other 6 year old boys within 1 1/2 hours of getting here and within this first week of school Sierra has played at one friends house and had three different girls over here to play. I am so glad they already made some friends. It has also been fun to watch them with the chickens. The other day it took all three of them to get the eggs and feed them Sierra pretty much runs the show and Carson and Briana have to hold the door open for her to climb in and get the eggs. She is pretty brave letting them hold it they are afraid of the chickens but as long as Sierra shoos them away they will help her!!! They are very nice chickens though and don't even bother you when you are in the coop so hopefully they will get braver with time.
I still have a bit of unpacking to do then I will get some pictures put up for everyone to see.
