5 Cents (Best money ever spent)

Sierra has decided she wants this little container of gum stuff that she had at my sister Martha's one time. We were at the store last week and she had like 22 cents and so she didn't have enough for the gum stuff. Yesterday she was trying to use her little computer to figure out how much money she would need to make everyday for a certain number of days to make $5 and I didn't know what she was trying to do but it wasn't working out quite like it was supposed to so this morning I finally get the whole story of what she was trying to do. She had been telling me she needed to do enough chores to make $10 a day and after four weeks she would have enough. I finally explained to her that $2 would buy the gum I think it was a dollar something. She typed this info in the computer and figured out that if she made 5 cents a day for a month she would have enough money to buy the gum. Sierra said what can I do for 5 cents so I got her to load the dishwasher, wash the cookie sheets that were dirty from making cookies, and she swept the kitchen floor. The best part about it all is she didn't complain the whole time. I think maybe she might be ready to make an allowance maybe then I would at least get some things done without complaining I hate to hear complaining everytime I ask for something to be done. I guess we will see if she sticks it out for a month to get the gum. I just discussed with her that she still might not have quite enough ny then but maybe I can pay her a bonus if she does good work!!!

Child Labor......oh wait I probably would do the same. Good job, when she wants to make ten cents a day, send her to my place, lol. Grandma and Grandpa might tip her a quarter.
