This last fall we took the training wheels off of Carson's bike and took him once to try it out. Since then we have not taken the time to work with him again, so anytime he wants to ride a bike he has just rode Briana's bike with the training wheels. It has been so nice here lately that the kids have been playing outside a lot. A couple of days ago Carson was getting Briana's bike out to ride and I told him he needed to get his bike out and learn to ride it. I then proceeded to tell him of all the kids I knew that are younger than him that know how to ride a two wheel bike. He got the bike out and started trying to ride. He said to me, "If I have faith I can do it I can" , I then said "Yes you can". He kept trying and didn't give up I offered to give him a push a couple of times to get him started but after that he wouldn't let me help him. Teaching Sierra to ride a two-wheeler was quite a chore so I would have to say making Carson do it himself was so much easier. I think he learned to balance it better by knowing no one was hanging on. Of course he is a boy and is not really afraid to fall off either. Briana wanted to practice with her bike too because last fall hers was kind of big for her too so she was pretty unsure of it but she climbed on and got started and now three days later the two of them are bike riding maniacs. Carson has crashed into my car, the shed and the neighbors rose bush and Briana crashed a couple of times onto the grass and once onto the street, but through it all they keep getting back up and going some more. They are loving it so much they want to spend every spare moment outside. They even convinced Steve to let them go out last night when they were supposed to be getting in the tub. Dad, what a sucker!!! We hope you are all enjoying so nice weather like we are. Spring here we come!!!!!

What fun! Bikes are the best! :) I have a random question... do you know where I could find the outline for that egg carton/ true meaning of Easter thing you had? I want our YW to make some of those this year. I hope you're all doing great! :)
My favorite part about watching my kids learn to ride their bikes was the part after they learned to peddle but didn't realize they had to steer too. I was nervous during this time, but also enjoyed watching them ride in LARGE parking lots.
How great! I'm glad you're having good weather...we are too. Good luck with your house!!
