Last night this rainbow was in the sky. I had to take two pictures to get both sides of it the middle was behind a cloud. I love rainbows but was slightly disappointed in that usually you get to enjoy a little rain (treasure)with it (my garden could sure use some). Steve said he had a little sprinkling when he was on his way home from work but I never saw a drop. I did just hear thunder though and am holding out that some of the gloom from this week might give my garden a good bath. Just wanted to share one of the many beauties of the earth with everyone.

That's one thing we get in abundance in the Rockies that are scarce on the West Coast--at least as far as I can remember.
Are you trying to make me jealous with that rainbow over the mountain picture? It's so beautiful. I miss the mountains so much.
