What We Are UP To

If you are wondering what we are up to ................the boxes are piling up we thought we didn't have much to pack since we thought most of our stuff was in storage we are slowly seeing how much stuff we do have here, so we are packing a little everyday to spread out the work. I changed some addresses, paid our library fines and closed our accounts and we have been calling utilities and such to get ready for Steve to be able to stay at the new house by at least Monday. When he got back down there yesterday the people he is staying with shared the neighborhood gossip of ......the other family had two trailers at their house over the weekend and lots of moving was going on .........the rumor is they are planning on being out of the house completely by Thursday so maybe we will get the keys when we close. That would be fun I hope to see the house again when I go down this weekend anyways for the closing. We are getting so excited to move the kids keep asking how many days and when is their last day at school. Before we know it we will be in our new house!!! Sorry no pictures today my memory card is still full putting it on a disk is still on the to do list.

Finally

Wow!What a long month!!! I finally feel like I have enough info. to give an update. Steve started his new job on Jan. 4th. We ended up calling our new bishop and he hooked Steve up with a couple that has been renting a room to him until we get into our new house. So Steve stays down there during the week and comes home on the weekend. The first week was a little rought Paityn spent most of the week crying. I think she had some gas issues but seems to be doing much better. I will be the first to tell you I did not sign up to be a single parent. I need the extra help it just makes life a little easier. This last week was nice cause Steve had Monday off as well so we got to have him for an extra day which will make for a short week this week as well which is nice. We have been trying to get some final dates for three weeks now I think. Our first lender seemed to really be dragging their feet so a couple weeks ago we changed lenders and so we were still waiting for all the new paper work to go through and to get a date. We tried to keep in touch with our real estate agent and he would just be really vague about dates. I think I got asked daily what are plans are and when are we moving and stuff like that and it got kind of old saying "I still dont' know for sure". Thankfully after Steve and I had a couple of fights over the issue (me wanting a firm date)(Steve not wanting to be a pest) Steve sent an email to the agent basically saying today or tomorrow is it we have to have some dates. Wouldn't you know about an hour after the email was sent the agent responded with a closing date of Jan. 29th and we get the keys on Feb. 1st. YEAH!!! We are so excited for our new adventure. Steve seems to really be liking his job and the couple Steve is staying with have lots of good things to say about the neighborhood and the ward. So we finally have a firm moving day. WOOO HOOO!!! We will be moving the first weekend in February. We are looking forward to all of our friends and family coming for a visit. Give us a call we would love to have anyone who wants to come and visit. .................. Funny side note.......... it seems like everyone around there is named "Mitch" Steve now knows three new "Mitch's" he works with one, is staying with one, and our lender agent is one!!!!!

Sierra has been having some issues with Briana lately. They have to share a room and a bed as you can see. Sierra has been trying to keep her side clean and Briana pretty much has no desire to clean anything so either Sierra cleans it or it stays dirty most of the time. I guess Sierra finally got fed up with it and made this line out of paper to keep Briana off her side of the bed and room. I just had to laugh I remember as a kid having to share a bed with one of my sisters and we rolled a blanket up and put it in the middle so we had to stay on our own sides too. I wonder where my tape went???!!! Wonder where all the printer paper went we are completely out?????!!!!!

At Christmas time the couple upstairs does a family Bingo with lots of prizes and this year they were so sweet to invite us to come to Bingo night. One of the prizes I chose was a ginger bread house kit. I thought the kids would have fun with it. We didn't get them made before Christmas so when I went to Walmart after and saw some on sale I bought another kit so the fun could be shared around a little easier. Thanks to Olivia who took on the task and I think enjoyed it as much as anyone did. The kids loved having Olivia and Grandma here for the holiday.

I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of the girls in the skirts grandma made them for Christmas. I wasn't sure if Sierra liked hers or if she would wear it but I was going to put Paityn's on her and I knew Briana would want to wear hers to church and when Sierra saw they were both wearing theirs she went and changed into hers as well so I couldn't pass up the photo op!!!!

Way to Go!!!

Paityn is just over 11 weeks old and she rolled over for the first time from her belly to her back tonight. She was crying pretty hard but I guess when mad enough amazing things can happen. I tried to quickly grab the camera and catch the rest of the flip but wouldn't you know the memory card was full and the battery is dead guess we will have to catch her another time another day. Just thought I better document this here since I have yet to purchase her a baby book and don't really have a place to write it down for now. Way to go Paityn you are getting so big so fast. I got the battery changed last night and we put her on her stomach this morning and she rolled over again twice so I decided to delete a couple of pictures to make room to video her doing it again so here it is. She was completely on her belly to start but I only had 27 seconds of space so I tried to wait until she took off to start recording.
